Singing Dewy

Dewy sings all day long. Usually a silly made up song to the tune of a real song. One morning he sang to the tune of the Dixie Plate Comercial. Today he sang this song, thinking this is really how it goes
Mary had a little land, little land, little land
Mary had a little land
Police are white as snow.

This and That

I know the universe was trying to teach me something yesterday when Tilly spilled half a gallon of chocolate milk in my newly cleaned kitchen. And by clean, I mean really really cleaned by a professional. And by spilled I mean it looked like a chocolate milk bomb exploded. There was shrapnel splashed onto all the shiny stainless steel appliances, the walls, and all over the inside of the refrigerator.

The country prosecutor called yesterday and asked me to come to court to talk to Judge Shumate for the sentencing on my crash. I am not calling it an accident because it wasn't one. I am not real excited about being in the same room with the person who hit me.

It says something that Dewy and Zaya both just went potty and when I yelled "Flush the toilet." They both had to run back to their perspective locations and flush the toilets. Now that is killing two birds with one stone, or flushing two toilets with one command.

The drama continues

Poor Dewy had his tonsils and adenoids removed and tubes put in his ears on Tuesday. He did pretty well that day but it went down hill from there. He has been pretty sore and hasn't eaten a whole lot. His breath smells like he swallowed a dead horse, but he is doing a little better.

Yesterday while I was at work, Jon finally decided that he had enough of Dewy's hair and he took the clippers to him. The problem is that the bleach had not grown out enough to the length that Jon cut it. The other problem is that Jon cut it all one length. Dewy no longer has a Mohawk. He now has a big yellow stripe down the middle of his dead. He is in pain and looks like a complete weirdo.

Asha got baptized yesterday. I will post some pictures tomorrow.
