Easter Desease

Dewy's first Easter he had a blowout on the way to church so when we took him out of the car he was covered in poop. This year about half way through Sacrament meeting, he started coughing. This kid has a super powerful gag reflex and I knew he was going to loose it. As soon as we got out into the hall, he puked all over me. I was holding him and running for the exist as fast as I could do so without spilling the puke that was now being contained between the two of us. A little of it did leak out the sides but luckily it landed right in my purse. There we were this lovely Easter Sunday covered in throw-up. I took all his clothes off and got him in the car seat. Then I carefully got in the car and turned my dress inside out as I took in off. I rode home in my shirt and slip. What a way to celebrate!

Other than that we had a ton of fun decorating egg on Saturday and going over to JP and Shelly's on Sunday.

Oh my goodness ... that is discusting ... poor little guy. Go you for catching it and being organized enough to leave like that. I forsure would have had to go back in and cause a big scene. ;)

Sorry to laugh at your pain- but that was too funny. Next year just stay home!!! (No, wait, go to church! I want to hear what's worse that poop and puke!)

That sucks- the throw up part. Ugh. i hate throw up. So I also read you came up recently to the zoo and i had to say that if you ever go to the zoo again, call me. I live literally a mile a way and I'd love to come and see you! And Parker LOVES the zoo.

Oh, the love of a mother and her intuitive reactions. Was your new Easter dress soiled? You are the best, Jenny, and Dewy sure throws some surprises. Where was Jon? Did he know you had left before Sacrament was over? What a surprise for him.

I had a very similar experience with Tyler when he was an infant. Total blow out during Sacrament on the first Sunday I was going to begin teaching Relief Society! Talk about quick change artist! Hope he is feeling better and the laundry came out alright!
